Philosophy
Children learn by active exploration, play, and concrete experiences, which form a foundation for later, more abstract learning. The classroom provides multi-sensory experiences allowing the children to question, to reason, to create, and to problem solve.

Our preschool faculty designed a balanced curriculum of developmentally appropriate literacy, math, science, and social studies learning experiences. Teachers will connect these content areas to children’s lives with meaningful teacher directed and child selected projects and activities, cognitive games, literature and play taught through a thematic center based approach.

Every child will have the opportunity to learn through social interactions with peers and nurturing teachers in a physically and emotionally safe environment. The staff will encourage the children to develop a sense of responsibility, independence, and the ability to make good choices.

Children leaving our preschool center will have gained the self-confidence, independence, and competencies needed to be successful throughout their school careers in Bloomfield Hills. Bloomfield Hills Schools represents comprehensive education at its finest.
